Dear Brothers and Sisters of Hadchit,
Next month will mark a significant milestone for our Association, it will be the 53rd anniversary of establishment of the Association of Saint Raymond Charities of Hadchit.
Throughout the decades, our association has had a long and proud history of serving and representing the Hadchit community of Sydney, Australia, and we recognise the imperative of adapting to meet the evolving needs of our community, both locally and in Hadchit.
In pursuit of this commitment to continuous improvement, we are embarking on a journey of introspection and reform, beginning with a comprehensive review of our constitution. We acknowledge that true progress necessitates change, and we are dedicated to ensuring that our association remains resilient and responsive to the challenges of the future.
To uphold principles of transparency and inclusivity, we invite all members to participate in this vital process. Your insights and contributions are invaluable as we endeavor to lay a foundation that will empower future generations to carry our legacy forward with pride and purpose.
The first stage of this process requires the re-establishment of a directory of members. As part of this endeavour, we kindly request all existing and prospective members (aged 18 and above) to renew or initiate their memberships by completing the membership form. We are planning to hold a membership drive, scheduled for the 4th of March, 2024, 7:30pm, at the Hadchit Hall Granville, to collect membership forms. Alternatively, you can submit scanned forms via email to memberships@hadchit.com.au.
The second stage is the establishment of a sub-committee dedicated to fostering community engagement and organising social activities and events. This initiative aims to bridge generational divides and ensure the continued social engagement of our association.
The third stage is the drafting of a new constitution, to provide additional governance beyond the standard model rules that have been adopted in the past, as this will provide a clearer framework to cater for the needs of our association.
The fourth stage is the holding of an AGM to pass a special resolution to alter the objects and rules of the association based on feedback from the members of the association, as well as other formal business such as committee elections.
In the spirit of transparency, attached are the minutes from our recent committee meeting, outlining our initial proposals for constitutional reform. We emphasize that these proposals are subject to revision based on your feedback and input. Your patience and cooperation throughout this process are sincerely valued.
Together, let us embark on this journey of renewal and growth, guided by the principles of unity, integrity, inclusivity and respect that will define us as a community going forward.

الإخوة والأخوات الأعزاء في حدشيت، سيشكل الشهر المقبل حدثًا هامًا لجمعيتنا، حيث سيكون الذكرى السنوية الثالثة والخمسين لتأسيسها تأسيس جمعية القديس رومانوس الخيرية بحدشيت. خلال العقود من الزمن، كان لجمعيتنا تاريخ طويل وفخر في خدمة وتمثيل المجتمع ،مجتمع حدشيت في سيدني، أستراليا، ونحن ندرك ضرورة التكيف للقاء الاحتياجات المتطورة لمجتمعنا، محليًا وعالميًا. وسعيًا لتحقيق هذا الالتزام بالتحسين المستمر، فإننا نبدأ رحلة الاستبطان والإصلاح، بدءاً بمراجعة شاملة لدستورنا. نحن ندرك أن التقدم الحقيقي يتطلب التغيير، ونحن ملتزمون بضمان ذلك وتبقى الجمعية مرنة ومستجيبة للتحديات المستقبلية لدعم مبادئ الشفافية والشمولية، ندعو جميع الأعضاء للمشاركة في ذلك العملية الحيوية. ان أفكاركم ومساهماتكم لا تقدر بثمن ونحن نسعى لوضع الأسس التي من شأنها تمكين الأجيال القادمة من المضي قدمًا بإرثنا بكل فخر واعتزاز. تتطلب المرحلة الأولى من هذه العملية إعادة إنشاء دليل الأعضاء. كجزء في هذا المسعى، نطلب من جميع الأعضاء الحاليين والمحتملين (الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 18 وما فوق) لتجديد أو بدء عضوياتهم من خلال تعبئة النموذج المرفق. نحن نخطط لعقد حملة للعضوية، المقرر عقدها في 4 مارس في قاعة حدشيت غرانفيل، لجمع نماذج العضوية. وبدلاً من ذلك، يمكنك إرسال النماذج الممسوحة ضوئيًا عبر البريد الإلكتروني إلى memberships@hadchit.com.au. أما المرحلة الثانية فهي إنشاء لجنة فرعية مخصصة لرعاية المجتمع المشاركة في تنظيم الأنشطة والفعاليات الاجتماعية. وتهدف هذه المبادرة إلى سد الانقسامات بين الأجيال وضمان استمرار المشاركة الاجتماعية لجمعيتنا. أما المرحلة الثالثة فهي صياغة دستور جديد، لتوفير قرارات إضافية، بعد ذلك قواعد النموذج القياسي التي تم اعتمادها في الماضي، حيث سيوفر ذلك المزيد من الوضوح ضمن إطار تلبية احتياجات جمعيتنا. المرحلة الرابعة هي عقد الجمعية العمومية لإصدار قرار خاص بتغيير بعض قواعد الجمعية بناءً على آراء أعضائها، وكذلك الأعمال الرسمية الأخرى مثل التصويت لأعضاء اللجنة. ومن منطلق الشفافية، نرفق لكم محضر اجتماع اللجنة الأخير، الخطوط العريضة لمقترحاتنا الأولية للإصلاح الدستوري. ونحن نؤكد أن هذه المقترحات تخضع للمراجعة بناء على ملاحظاتكم ومداخلاتكم. صبركم وتعاونكم طوال الوقت في هذه العملية موضع تقدير صادق. دعونا نشرع معًا في رحلة التجديد والنمو هذه، مسترشدين بمبادئ الوحدة، النزاهة والشمولية التي ستحددنا كمجتمع يمضي قدمًا لمستقبل افضل.
